Nutella Mustaches…hmmm

Have you ever eaten a big spoonful of Nutella and ended up with a slab of Nutella on your mouth? Maybe it's just me, but I like to refer to these as Nutella mustaches. Hehe. Well, this WAS a short blog post, but oh well! If you find yourself wiping off a Nutella mustache, leave a comment!!

NUTELLERIA!!

NUTELLERIA!
So....today we wanted to talk about our dream of opening a nutella bakery....and then we found out that there is a NUTELLERIA!!!!!!!!! It’s in Italy, and that’s kind of our lifelong dream right now to go there....like we want to go more than we want it to snow for Christmas!!!! It’s ALL Nutella ALL THE TIME!! We are actually hyperventilating right now....this is the best thing EVER! So...yeah, short blog, we know, we know, but we just had to express our deep admiration for this nutelleria. It’s basically our goal now, and NOTHING WILL STOP US! :)

XOXO,
Zoe & Larissa

My Pomegranate Story...

My Pomegranate Story
Hey hey hey! Alrighty then! So, in my previous blog I mentioned the desert island game (like “if you were stranded on a desert island...yada-yada-yada) So I said that if I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring two foods, they would be a lifetime supply of nutella (of course) and...pomegranates. So my story begins like this:

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, a young girl asked her mom for a pomegranate since she was going to the market. With hopeful eyes the girl pleaded and cried, but her mother said no. The girl was sad and trudged away, dreaming of her long-lost pomegranate friend. Well, the very next day, she met up with Zoe for lunch. As the girl munched on her limp-lettuce salad, Zoe pulled out....POM- WONDERFUL! A delicious brand exclusively for pomegranates. The girl was ecstatic and she offered a deal: I’ll give you my cookie for half of those delectable pomegranate seeds! “Okay” she agreed. And together, the two friends enjoyed the fruit of the island:pomegranates.

Yep! There’s my story...so, yeah my two favorite foods are nutella and pomegranates...and noodles. :) Haha, this was an extremely random blog but I kinda had to tell it....I couldn’t just leave you hanging about my pomegranate story now could I?! Zoe and I are going to (hopefully) put up a blog together soon! So comment what you’d like us to blog about, we also have TONS of recipes and more holiday stuff coming your way!
XOXO,
Larissa

The Biggest Jar of Nutella...EVER!

The BIGGEST JAR of Nutella... EVER!

Okay, so over summer break last year, I went to Chelsea Market in New York City, and it was there that my dreams came true! There it was, the BIGGEST JAR OF NUTELLA EVER!!!!!!! It was almost 7 pounds and it cost-can you believe it- $75!!!!!! Can I please have that for Christmas!?!? Between Zoe and Me, that entire jar could probably last us....well, okay, 2 days? Sorry! We’re that IN LOVE! But okay, people, if you haven’t tried nutella yet...DROP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND GO GETSOME NUTELLA!! Buy it from the store, ask a neighbor, ask a hobo!! It doesn’t matter how (well, actually it does, because you should NEVER steal nutella-or anything for that matter...anyways enough of my morals lesson...MOVING ON!). The point of the matter is, if I was stranded on a desert island, and could only bring two foods, I would bring a lifetime supply of Nutella, and a lifetime supply of Pomegranates...but that’s another story! :P
XOXO,
Larissa :)

Swirled Peppermint Nutella Hot Cocoa

Heyheyhey! We hope you’ve got a sweet tooth for Nutella!!!! “Swirled Peppermint Nutella Hot Cocoa” is the perfect treat for those cold winter days! This festive treat we created ourselves will warm up frosty fingers and make EVERYONE jolly! Enjoy!
~Zoe & Larissa
Ingredients:
~1 (or more!) packets of SwissMiss Hot Chocolate with the teenie tiny marshmallows
~Regular marshmallows (the mini kind are fabulous)
~1 (or more!) crushed candy cane(s)
~Red (or any color you want, really) candy crystals (aka SUGAR SPRINKLES!)
~hot water (obviously)
~a pinch of milk (any kind you like!)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil some water.
2.Choose a large mug (preferrably winter themed), and place it place it on a plate.
3. Get the hot chocolate mix and put it into your mug. One packet should be enough since you will be adding lots of ingredients. (including Nutella!!)
4. Get the marshmallows from the hot cocoa mix and add those in as well. You can also add mini marshmallows so that they will melt and make it even more tasty!
5. Get one candy cane and unrwap it.Then place the candy cane in a plastic bag and crush it!! You can use a hammer, the back of a spoon, or you could just put the candy cane in a blender and crush it that way. (You can use more than one candy cane if you really love peppermint, of course!)
6. Add some Nutella, as much as you want!
7. When the water is boiled, you can pour it into your mug and then add a droplet (or more) of milk.

Now for the fun part....DECORATIONS!
~you can put more marshmallows!
-whipped cream, of course
-more crushed candy cane
-peppermint stick (yummy!!)
-chocolate shavings (mmm, a sultry take)
-a Hershey Kiss (who doesn’t want a little love in their cocoa!?)
-red sugar crystals (for a little extra sparkle!)
-MORE NUTELLA!! <3
We hope you enjoyed this fun winter recipe incorporating our favorite ingredient, NUTELLA!
Until next time!
XOXO
