Things to do when you are bored(involving Nutella, of course):
-make Nutella Hot Cocoa (see our other blog post-you'll find the coziest, yummiest, most amazing nutella recipe out there!!!)
-eat Nutella with a spoon (or fork...)
-pretend you have a mustache
-make cupcakes with Nutella frosting (or filling)
-call up a friend, grab your jar(s)* of Nutella, and chat while you munch upon the chocolatey deliciousness
-watch a movie while eating large helpings of Nutella, instead of popcorn (or, dip your popcorn in the Nutella (it's actually delicious!!!!)
-watch the snow fall and sit by the fire while you drink Nutella hot cocoa and ponder about your day (if it doesn't snow where you live, you can get Yule Log for free or just google"let it snow" and watch the magic happen!!!)
-if it is Summer, sit by the pool with huge, bug-like sunglasses on and relax in the sunlight whilst eating your Nutella by the spoonful (or forkful)!
-Sit in your room with your puppy curled up in your lap whist reading a magazine or book, chatting on the phone, or watching TV, and eating Nutella. (if you don't have any pets, or if your pet is a fish or whale, feel free to use your nearby porcelain snail or elephant, or any other collectible little critter!)
*NOTE: Multiple jars of Nutella may be consumed*
**ANOTHER NOTE: There is never such a thing as too much Nutella, so when people tell you otherwise, you have a right to be upset, and you should show them this blog and prove them wrong :)**

Swirled Peppermint Nutella Hot Cocoa
Heyheyhey! We hope you’ve got a sweet tooth for Nutella!!!! “Swirled Peppermint Nutella Hot Cocoa” is the perfect treat for those cold winter days! This festive treat we created ourselves will warm up frosty fingers and make EVERYONE jolly! Enjoy!
~Zoe & Larissa
Ingredients:
~1 (or more!) packets of SwissMiss Hot Chocolate with the teenie tiny marshmallows
~Regular marshmallows (the mini kind are fabulous)
~1 (or more!) crushed candy cane(s)
~Red (or any color you want, really) candy crystals (aka SUGAR SPRINKLES!)
~hot water (obviously)
~a pinch of milk (any kind you like!)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil some water.
2.Choose a large mug (preferrably winter themed), and place it place it on a plate.
3. Get the hot chocolate mix and put it into your mug. One packet should be enough since you will be adding lots of ingredients. (including Nutella!!)
4. Get the marshmallows from the hot cocoa mix and add those in as well. You can also add mini marshmallows so that they will melt and make it even more tasty!
5. Get one candy cane and unrwap it.Then place the candy cane in a plastic bag and crush it!! You can use a hammer, the back of a spoon, or you could just put the candy cane in a blender and crush it that way. (You can use more than one candy cane if you really love peppermint, of course!)
6. Add some Nutella, as much as you want!
7. When the water is boiled, you can pour it into your mug and then add a droplet (or more) of milk.
Now for the fun part....DECORATIONS!
~you can put more marshmallows!
-whipped cream, of course
-more crushed candy cane
-peppermint stick (yummy!!)
-chocolate shavings (mmm, a sultry take)
-a Hershey Kiss (who doesn’t want a little love in their cocoa!?)
-red sugar crystals (for a little extra sparkle!)
-MORE NUTELLA!! <3
We hope you enjoyed this fun winter recipe incorporating our favorite ingredient, NUTELLA!
Until next time!
XOXO
